Es ist Zeit, sehr klar bezogen auf @dieLinke zu sagen:

1) Die Berliner Linke hat ein #Antisemitismus-Problem. Bis dieses Problem, und einige andere, eindeutig gelöst sind, kann es keine Zusammenarbeit geben. Das ist ein Problem, das Spitzenkandidatin @ElifEralpBerlin lösen muss. Es reicht nicht, zu behaupten, es gebe dieses Problem nicht.

2) Die Berliner Linke hat auch ein #Hass-Problem. Israel-Kritik ist zulässig und auch geboten (inklusive Sanktionen gegen Rechtsextremisten aus Israel!). Aber die Linke verpackt Hass gegen Israel bewusst als Israel-Kritik und verkauft ihn an eine Wählerschaft, die genau diesen Hass wählen will. Das ist billig, unseriös und demokratiegefährdend.

3) Die Berliner Linke hat ein #Islamismus-Problem. Natürlich müssen wir über den Islam als Teil unserer Gesellschaft und unserer Vielfalt sprechen. Aber in einer Moschee mit Hamas-Nähe Islamismus kleinzureden, ist keine Politik der Zukunft. Das ist Selbstaufgabe einer offenen, progressiven Gesellschaft. Hier hätten auch die dort anwesenden Grünen deutlicher werden sollen.

4) Gut, dass @grafwer das Problem zu Recht benannt und Klartext gesprochen hat. Gut, dass @gruene_berlin hier klaren Kompass haben.

Kurzum: Berlin ist ein Ort des Zusammenlebens. Aber Berlin darf kein Ort für antisemitische Massenveranstaltungen sein.

Das hatten wir schon einmal. Und das darf sich in keinem neuen Gewand wiederholen.

Rather than focusing on long-term NATO membership debates, Barker said the summit should prioritize immediate defense production, weapons deliveries, and industrial cooperation.

“I don't think the political messaging about NATO's future relationship with Kyiv can really produce anything good right now," he said. "The immediate needs are greater commitments of weapons, especially air defense, and enhanced cooperation on defense production.”

Whether Republican or Democrat, you know where a Congress-member stands with their vote. Their vote speaks. Rhetoric is meant to conceal, to obfuscate. Omar voted no to the Ukraine Support Act. You know where she stands.

I have always, and will continue, to stand with the Ukrainian people and unequivocally condemn Putin’s illegal and brutal invasion. I voted against the Ukraine Support Act because of its inclusion of broad economic sanctions. Time and again, sanctions like these fail to achieve their stated goals while inflicting real suffering on ordinary people. Opposing Russian aggression does not require us to support policies that punish ordinary civilians who did not ask for this war.

The foreign policy establishment continues to return to the same failed playbook and expects different results. Economic sanctions fail to achieve their desired goals and in most cases are counterproductive to ending war.

I remain committed to supporting diplomacy, peace, and justice for the Ukrainian people affected by this horrific conflict. But I could not in good conscience support legislation that wages economic warfare on innocent civilians.
