I don’t normally do stuff like this, but allow me a personal post.
We went to @WaltDisneyWorld on vacation recently. My 9 year old daughter has a stuffed sheep (“Sheepie”) that she has had since she was born. It’s her most treasured possession.
We left our room one day to go to the parks and when we returned housekeeping had come and Sheepie was nowhere to be found. We did not take her out of the room and know for certain she was on the bed when we left. It was an honest mistake, an accident. We are fairly certain she was mistakenly wrapped up with the bedding when they changed the sheets. We notified @DisneyParks and our resort immediately and followed the Lost and Found protocol.
Not only has Sheepie not been found, we had to harass the front desk to get them to care, respond, or attempt to track down what happened. Their attempts to rectify their mistake have been lackluster to say the least.
This is 100% their mistake and their handling of it has been quite poor. We fully realize with all the stuff going on in the world that this may seem small to many, but it’s quite big to a 9 year old child. My daughter asked about Sheepie every few hours while we were there and broke down crying during our last night in the park when she realized we weren’t getting her back before we left.
If anyone is on TikTok and would like to help you can use this link to like, share, and/or comment so we can get some attention from @WaltDisneyWorld and @DisneyParks. Or you can RT this tweet if you wish to do so.
Thanks everyone ❤️
