@Miekuel717 @ImFiredUp2 @usahockey Mathew Tkachuk literally limped off the ice after this game and only played another six mins of hockey in the tournament then missed 2.5 months of the nhl season. And his team lost in the finals. Similarly to how the USA lost to Canada at the 2014 2010 2002 Olympics.

@OviClapBomb As a Leafs fan, Mathews has made playoffs 7/8 they didn’t beat Columbus in 2020 bubble and weren’t anywhere close to a secure playoff spot when the season abruptly ended 😢

[Tyler Tisdale @TyyTizz]

@Islayleftists @CarCrazy411 @spittinchiclets America has never won gold at an Olympics featuring NHLers. Best results were losing to Canada in 02 and again to Canada in 2010 in the finals. 31 Cups 3 teams were captained by Americans (Brown twice). USA did win the gold at WJCs. 7 total now, Canada 20. My friend told me this

[Tyler Tisdale @TyyTizz]

@phillyclears @barstoolsports I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not, 48% of the top professional hockey league in the world is made up of players who played minor hockey in Canada

[Tyler Tisdale @TyyTizz]

@_hanknit @PFTCommenter Yeah Canada has won of 3 of the last 4 of those that featured NHLers. Good luck to our friends down south
