What a tragedy for journalism.

At a time when students are demanding accountability over issues that affect their future, some mainstream media voices choose to obsess over a film release instead. Worse, peaceful protesters are casually labelled “anti-national” and “anti-social.”

When journalism stops speaking truth to power and starts mocking dissent, it fails the very purpose of a free press.
