Christian Zidouemba, USJ alumnus, became George Washington University’s Student Association’s President. Growing up in Burkina Faso, Christian faced challenges getting what most take for granted - an education. He has worked really hard to achieve greatness.
Today we have our College Experience Panel! Our very own USJ Alumni will be speaking to our current students about their experience as college students! There’s no better way to prepare than from first hand knowledge!

Through our career panel, we introduce our students to minority judges, doctors, police officers and other professionals they do not interact with in their regular lives. Our goal is to demystify these professions and allow our students to see themselves in their shoes.
Tonight our students will play the role of a scholarship committee. They will review scholarship applications and determine who gets the money and how much of it.
We hope that this exercise helps our students in their approach to scholarship applications.
