CrossingPoints is a multi-tiered post-secondary transition program on the campus of The University of Alabama for students with intellectual disabilities.
Legends are made here. Just ask these students who persevered & graduated. 💪📚 Find out how it’s done by joining us this Friday at 10 CST by visiting https://t.co/xxrUKMppCm to have an interactive and engaging conversation with program faculty and maybe an alum! 🐘 #RollCPP
We fulfilled our mission of teaching, research, and service, but we’re glad to be home because students are coming back to campus soon! #RollCPP#SweetHomeTitleTown
The Tide was rising from coast to coast in July! From Portland to Orlando to Washington, D.C., our team made the most of the month as we shared research activities at various conferences and attended the World Down Syndrome Congress.
Have you checked your mailbox today? We might be in there! CrossingPoints was featured as an “Alabama Success Story” in @rsaalgov’s monthly newsletter, The Advisor. You can also check it out by visiting the link in our bio! #RollCPP
#SummerBridge is in the books! Seven students enrolled, five weeks of learning, three states represented, and one amazing collegiate experience. We are thrilled for their growth over the last month, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do with what they’ve learned. #RollCPP
We’re also thankful to @RubysRainboworg for supporting postsecondary education and our friends in @UA_Athletics for their continued support of students with intellectual disabilities on UA’s campus. #RollCPP
It’s official…a CrossingPoints student has been awarded one of the largest @RubysRainboworg scholarships! Cooper, an incoming #Tier3 student from Fairhope, AL, was awarded his $10,000 scholarship by @haha_cd6 (1)
former @AlabamaFTBL and @NFL player and current Director of Player Development, and members of the team. We’re proud of Cooper’s hard work to earn his scholarship.
Fully inclusive from the start. And the #BamaBound vibes are immaculate.
We’re here for orientation alongside our future classmates, workout partners, fraternity brothers and sorority sisters, and friends.
Happy Juneteenth! As we pause to reflect upon the meaning of this day, we celebrate the spirit of freedom and the contributions made by African-Americans which continue to advance our nation. #RollCPP
After a fun weekend in #TitleTown, we’re back to the classroom today. 📚 DYK: not only do our students take program-specific courses, but they enroll in classes alongside other UA students? 🐘 #RollCPP#InclusiveHigherEd#RollTide
We’re off and running with the 2023 edition of #SummerBridge! From the Alabama gulf coast to Chicago, IL and all points in between, we are thrilled to have these students on campus to explore postsecondary education. #RollTide#Tier2
These photos are in our #FridayFeelings. 🥹 Special thanks to Clarence Sealey Photography for sharing these photos from last night’s #Tier1 graduation! #RollCPP
