@Birdinbewl found the 2 Red-breasted Mergansers in Al Barsha Pond Park 6 March 2019, and thanks to his reporting it to Mark, it was enjoyed by a lucky few today before they disappeared in the afternoon

Just a line to let you know I had some good fortune at Khor Kalba this afternoon. I saw the Arabian Collared Kingfisher within 5 minutes from the bridge. I also had a Pallas's Gull and 18 Sooty Gulls on the beach.
