Dr. Drobena, MD, and Dr. Neill, PharmD, recently completed their training to become Certified Culinary Medicine Specialists. To become certified, they completed 60 credits, including online nutrition education courses, in-person conferences, and hands-on teaching kitchens.

A Culinary Medicine program will provide the College of Medicine’s 65 programs with experiential team building course concepts, exposing doctors to topics in food for medicinal use. The $20,000 grant was accepted by Molly Gathright, M.D., and Gina Drobena, M.D., FCAP.
Want a few strategies to drink less alcohol?
- Keep track of how many drinks you've had
- Plan ahead and set a limit for yourself
- Alternate with non-alcoholic drinks, like water
- Space out drinks (a break of ~1 hour)
- Eat before going out
