The "Residence of Mayors" project is designed to facilitate the exchange of experience between communities and is implemented within the "Supporting Decentralization in Ukraine" project by SALAR International.
Mayors and managers of medical institutions of 14 Ukrainian municipalities participated in the "Residence of Mayors" in Lviv to learn from the city's experience in building a rehabilitation ecosystem.
The residency participants took part in the International Rehabilitation Forum and the opening of the new building of the National Rehabilitation Center @UnbrokenProjec1 in #Lviv.

The first section of the modern building of the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN @UnbrokenProjec1 was opened in #Lviv yesterday. It's seven floors building, with the most modern recovery equipment, will be able to receive 10,000 Ukrainians every year.

#Polish and #German municipalities started 17 partnerships with #Ukrainian communities at the #EU-Ukraine Municipal Partnership forum in #Wojnowice (Poland). Some of them reached agreements on specific steps on the way to cooperation.
As for the agreements, they encompass joint work on solving water supply problems, the development of local fire departments and police stations, support of beekeeping, development of sports, and cultural exchange.
