سوال: اللہ تعالیٰ کا اسم اعظم کون سا ہے؟
جواب
اللہ تعالیٰ کے اسماءِ حسنیٰ میں سے بعض وہ ہیں جن کو اس لحاظ سے خاص عظمت و امتیاز حاصل ہے کہ جب ان کے ذریعہ دعا کی جائے تو دعا كی قبولیت کی زیادہ امید کی جا سکتی ہے ،ان اسماء کو حدیث میں ”اسم اعظم“ کہا گیا ہے ، لیکن صراحت کے ساتھ ان کو متعین نہیں کیا گیا ہے ، بلکہ کسی درجہ میں ان کو مبہم رکھا گیا ہے ، نیز احادیث سے یہ بھی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا کوئی ایک ہی اسمِ پاک “اسمِ اعظم” نہیں ہے بلکہ متعدد وہ اسماءِ حسنیٰ کو جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ کا جامع وصف مفہوم ہوتا ہے، اور ملاء اعلیٰ اور ہر دور میں جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ پکارا جاتا ہے ، اس نام کو “اسمِ اعظم” کہا گیا ہے جیسا کہ درج ذیل احادیث سے معلوم ہوتا ہے:

"عن عبد الله بن بريدة الأسلمي، عن أبيه، قال: سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رجلا يدعو وهو يقول: «اللهم إني أسألك بأني أشهد أنك أنت الله لا إله إلا أنت الأحد الصمد، الذي لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد» ، قال: فقال: «والذي نفسي بيده لقد سأل الله باسمه الأعظم الذي إذا دعي به أجاب، وإذا سئل به أعطى» ."

(سنن الترمذي (5 / 515) باب جامع الدعوات، ط: مطبعة مصطفى البابي الحلبي - مصر)

ترجمہ : "حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو اس طرح دُعا کرتے ہوئے سنا ، وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور میں عرض کر رہا تھا : ”اے اللہ! میں اپنی حاجت تجھ سے مانگتا ہوں بوسیلہ اس کے کہ بس تو اللہ ہے ، تیرے سوا کوئی مالک و معبود نہیں ،تو ایک اور یکتا ہے ، بالکل بےنیاز ہے ، اور سب تیرے محتاج ہیں ، نہ کوئی تیری اولاد ، نہ تو کسی کی اولاد اور نہ تیرا کوئی ہمسر“ ،رسول اللہﷺ نے (جب اس بندے کو یہ دُعا کرتے سنا تو) فرمایا کہ : اس بندے نے اللہ سے اس کے اس ”اسم اعظم“ کے وسیلہ سے دعا کی ہےکہ جب اس کے وسیلہ سے اس سے مانگا جائے تو وہ دیتا ہے ، اور جب اس کے وسیلہ سے دعا کی جائے تو وہ قبول کرتا ہے ۔ "

ایک اور حدیث مبارک میں ہے:

"عن أنس، أنه كان مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جالسا ورجل يصلي، ثم دعا: اللهم إني أسألك بأن لك الحمد، لا إله إلا أنت المنان، بديع السموات والأرض، يا ذا الجلال والإكرام، يا حي يا قيوم، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لقد دعا الله باسمه العظيم، الذي إذا دعي به أجاب، وإذا سئل به أعطى»."

(سنن أبي داود (2 / 79)باب الدعاء،ط: المكتبة العصرية، صيدا - بيروت)

ترجمہ :” حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں ایک دن رسول اللہﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر تھا اور ایک بندہ وہاں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا ، اس نے اپنی دعا میں عرض کیا : “اے اللہ ! میں تجھ سے اپنی حاجت مانگتا ہوں بوسیلہ اس کے کہ ساری حمد و ستائش تیرے ہی ليے ہے ، کوئی معبود نہیں تیرے سوا ، تو نہایت مہربان اورمحسن ہے ، زمین و آسمان کا پیدا فرمانے والا ہے ، اے ذوالجلال والاکرام ! اے حیّ ،اے قیّوم !، تو رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا کہ : ”اس بندے نے اللہ کے اُس اسمِ اعظم کے وسیلہ سے دعا کی ہے کہ جب اس سے الله تعالیٰ سے دعا کی جائے تو وہ قبول فرماتا ہے ، اور جب اس کے وسیلہ سے مانگا جائے تو عطا فرماتا ہے۔ “

اسی طرح ایک اور حدیث مبارک میں ہے:

"عن أسماء بنت يزيد، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " اسم الله الأعظم في هاتين الآيتين {وإلهكم إله واحد لا إله إلا هو الرحمن الرحيم} [البقرة: 163] ، وفاتحة سورة آل عمران: {الم الله لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم} [آل عمران: 2]."

ترجمہ :" اسماء بنت یزید رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ کا ”اسم ِ أعظم“ ان دو آیتوں میں موجود ہے ۔ ایک {وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ}اور دوسری آل عمران کی ابتدائی آیت: { الم اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ}."

تشریح ..... ان احادیث مبارکہ میں متعدد اسماءِ الٰہیہ کی خاص ترکیب سے اللہ تعالیٰ کا جو مرکب اور جامع وصف مفہوم ہوتا ہے، اس کو “اسم اعظم” سے تعبیر فرمایا گیا ہے ۔حضرت شاہ ولی اللہ محدث دہلویؒ نے بھی انہی احادیث کی روشنی میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے درج ذیل اسماء کو ”اسمِ أعظم “ کہا ہے:

"أَنْت الله لَا إِلَه إِلَّا أَنْت الْأَحَد الصَّمد الَّذِي لم يلد، وَلم يُولد، وَلم يكن لَهُ كفوا أحد، وعَلى لَك الْحَمد، لَا إِلَه إِلَّا أَنْت الحنان المنان بديع السَّمَوَات وَالْأَرْض يَا ذَا الْجلَال وَالْإِكْرَام، يَا حَيّ يَا قيوم."

اگر آپ مسجدِ نبوی ﷺ میں سلام کے لیے بابُ السلام سے داخل ہوں تو بائیں جانب چند قدم چلنے کے بعد، تقریباً چار ستونوں کے بعد پانچواں ستون اس مقام کی نشاندہی کرتا ہے جہاں سے نبی کریم ﷺ کے زمانے کی مسجد کا حصہ شروع ہوتا ہے۔

یہاں سے لے کر روضۂ اقدس تک چار راہداریاں ہیں، اور ہر راہداری پر ایک منتخب حدیث درج ہے۔ افسوس کہ اکثر زائرین ان سے بے توجہی سے گزر جاتے ہیں، حالانکہ یہ احادیث ایمان، شفاعت، محبت اور آخرت کی یاد سے دل کو بھر دیتی ہیں۔

منتخب احادیث (ترجمہ کے ساتھ)

1️⃣ شفاعت کے بارے میں
"میری شفاعت میری امت کے ان لوگوں کے لیے ہے جنہوں نے کبیرہ گناہ کیے ہوں۔"

2️⃣ شفاعت کی حقانیت
"قیامت کے دن میری شفاعت برحق ہے، جو اس پر ایمان نہ لائے وہ اس کا اہل نہیں ہوگا۔"

3️⃣ مدینہ کی فضیلت
"ایمان مدینہ کی طرف اس طرح سمٹ آئے گا جیسے سانپ اپنے بل کی طرف لوٹتا ہے۔"

4️⃣ ریاضُ الجنہ کی فضیلت
"میرے گھر اور میرے منبر کے درمیان کی جگہ جنت کے باغوں میں سے ایک باغ ہے۔"

In yet another blow from the Pakistani establishment, Imran and his wife Bushra Bibi have been sentenced to a further 17 years in prison each over gifts they legally received while in office.

The Toshakhana 2 case accused them of “selling” Saudi state gifts - watches, diamonds, and jewelry - in 2021. But no due process, no transparency, and no real defense was allowed.

The trial? Held inside prison at Adiala Jail. The judge? Delivered the verdict straight to their cell. Imran is being kept in solitary confinement, and his sons say they fear for his life.

🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN SUPPORTERS HIT WITH CHEMICAL WATER CANNONS OUTSIDE PRISON

Police used water cannons, reportedly mixed with chemicals, to break up peaceful protests outside the prison holding former PM Imran Khan.

Among those targeted were Khan’s sisters and supporters of his political party, PTI, who had gathered outside Adiala Jail, near the capital Islamabad, after being denied a court-ordered visit with him.

The protests began after repeated violations of a ruling by Pakistan’s top court allowing Khan 2 family and legal visits per week.

Instead of allowing access, police responded with force - launching water cannons at 2am, followed by baton charges and arrests.

Videos posted online show drenched protesters gasping, with some complaining of burning skin and eyes.

One of Khan’s sisters said the water was “poisonous” and left her hands burning.

PTI called the crackdown a “textbook case of fascism” and accused the government of using “chemical-laced water” on women, the elderly, and peaceful demonstrators.

Khan, once Pakistan’s most popular political figure, has been jailed since August on corruption charges.

His legal team says he’s in solitary confinement, being denied basic rights, and subjected to psychological pressure.

A UN human rights expert recently warned his treatment could amount to inhumane or degrading punishment under international law.

🇵🇰 OPINION: PAKISTAN'S MILITARY JUST ADMITTED IT RUNS A DICTATORSHIP

The military spokesperson stood before cameras and declared Fmr Prime Minister Imran Khan can no longer see his family.

Not a judge, not an elected official, but a uniformed general announcing that Pakistan's most popular leader will remain in total isolation.

If you needed proof that Pakistan isn't a functioning democracy anymore, there it is: the military doesn't even pretend the civilian government makes decisions.

The interview with Khan's sisters reveals something darker than authoritarianism.

This is systematic psychological torture designed to break a man who won't bend.

Seven weeks without books, four weeks in complete isolation, six cameras ensuring no guard speaks to him, a cell so small he can barely walk.

Imran Khan told his sister Uzma:

"This mental torture from solitary confinement is worse than physical torture."
