@UAkronPresident it is time to reinstate our coach, professor Mark Rittenour, and return funding to @uakron most awarded academic team, @UAkronSpeech.

[UAkron Speech Team @UAkronSpeech]

This past weekend, senior Ryan Longoria competed at states by himself, without funding or support from @uakron. He earned the title of State Champ in extemp, 4th in pers individually. He was able to bring back team awards of 1st in quality award and cumulative by himself.

We apologize for the misspelling. Correction: Cristine Boyd

[UAkron Speech Team @UAkronSpeech]

Unfortunately, people like Christine Boyd, who likely wrote this form response, at UCM could learn from the speech team when people pour their hearts out to them. We will not go silently. Help us fight for our program. @uakron @UAkronPresident #AkronForensicsdoesnotfeartheRoo

With UA’s decision to cut @UAkronSpeech and our coach Mark Rittenour, many people have sent in heartfelt letters. Here is the “heartfelt” responses we are receiving from @UAkronPresident and @uakron. My heart hurts. They can’t even be human
