We are grateful to Joanna Pagoulatos, BWC's COO, who was with us in Venice to support the team during the opening weeks.
In times of calamity, @BWagnerPR was kind and generous to support us pro bono and shared their valuable experience in PR for art initiatives.
Until February 24, our PR strategy was going according to the plan. But the full-scale #Russian invasion did not only put a lot of extra pressure on our team—it pushed press attention to the #UkrainianPavilion over the top amid the uncertainty of our visit to #Venice.
We are indebted to the BWC team for their invaluable help in conducting the New York and Venice press conferences, processing numerous media requests, organizing interviews and publications in top-tier media outlets, and scheduling international delegations to the pavilion.
Events will be streamed online on the Ukrainian Institute Facebook and Youtube pages. The film screening will be available only for visitors in Venice.

In a perfect world, #Russia would not have invaded #Ukraine, and the guests of the #VeniceBiennale would have received exquisite merch from the Ukrainian Pavilion — silver brooches in the form of #FountainofExhaustion funnels.
As of now, a limited edition of silver funnels is ready to become a memorable souvenir from the 59th Venice Biennale. Please DM us if you really want one.
