How have so many Indians been gaslit into believing that India was some sort of Stone Age country until 2014?

The Green Revolution, Operation Flood, affordable poultry, ISRO, the nuclear programme, vaccines, 1971, generic pharma, the auto industry, Aadhaar, the groundwork for GST and digital payments...

All of this existed before Modi.

You can praise what the BJP has done after 2014.

But how did we reach this bizarre version of history where everything before 2014 is treated as darkness and everything after it as national awakening? 😁

People of India should take this as a wakeup call. Let nobody divide us on the basis of religion, caste, or language. We are protected only when we are united.

Yes, religion is important but only as an individual's choice. Nobody should take advantage of your faith for their political gain.

When choosing a government, ALWAYS, I repeat, ALWAYS focus on their past records. Choose a qualified person/party rather than which religion/caste they're pretending to protect.

That's the reason, elections are so IMPORTANT because when we the people do not like how they performed during their time of governing then only we the people can decide whether they deserve to govern another term or not.

It's really that simple. When the appointed people who were supposed to protect the democracy at any cost are the ones who compromised it then they don't deserve to be on that post and must be punished for betraying the whole nation.

The ones who were so power hungry that they not only wanted to become the ONLY one governing where they can demolish the ones who chose them (the people of India). They are equally guilty of trying to destroy the democracy and must be punished too.

There has to be a complete reform of how situation like this can be prevented in the future. If the democracy has to work in India, then no government should ever be able to change something so important so easily.

Anyone trying to mess with the constitution must be afraid of consequences in the future irrespective of their position and role.

This definitely is problematic. Unlike sports, elections are not contested X vs Y. It is X vs Y vs Z vs A vs B and so on. Hypothetically, let's say all of the opposition boycott the election, then by ECI rule, one who didn't boycott will be elected unopposed. Ultimately, not fighting the elections is even a bigger issue.
