📢 @Telcoin (TEL) in the U.S. Crypto Reserve? 💰🇺🇸
If the U.S. is serious about building an efficient federal crypto reserve, Telcoin (TEL) should be part of the conversation.

(big ol' post cause someone asked)
Why is the Telcoin Network(The Network™) so important?
The TN is a true Layer 1 network like Ethereum but is made to specifically cater to the needs of Mobile Network Operators(MNOs). So it is going to be the centerpiece of how MNOs integrate with the blockchain.
If we compare TN to Polygon(not ETH level yet) then we can make some estimates. In 2024, Polygon averaged around 3-4 million transactions daily, with gas fees typically ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 MATIC per transaction (depending on network congestion).
So we can take .05 TEL for kind of a midrange for a transaction and put together some figures.
If the Telcoin Network scales to a similar level—say, 3 million transactions daily—and adopts a comparable gas fee structure (e.g., 0.05 TEL per transaction), the daily TEL usage for gas would be:
3,000,000 transactions × 0.05 TEL = 150,000 TEL used daily.
Now this TEL is not necessarily burned but is consumed as fees and SOME of it is burned and returned to the TAO treasury, the other piece goes to the validators, and of course there will be other fees taken out along the way(LPs and such).
Now what happens with adoption as more apps and more MNOs start actively using the network. Let's just use a price around todays price of .006.
High Adoption: If Telcoin hits 10 million transactions daily (0.05 TEL each), 500,000 TEL ($1,000 at $0.006) is used daily, or 182.5 million TEL (~$1 Billion) yearly. This 0.33% supply reduction could push the price to $0.009 (50% increase) if demand outpaces Treasury regeneration.
Extreme Scaling: At 50 million transactions daily, 2.5 million TEL ($15,000 daily) is used, totaling 912.5 million TEL ($5.5M) yearly—1.66% of supply. Price could climb to $0.015 (150% increase) with strong demand.
So how do we get to those numbers from the general 3 million transactions?
Remittances for one..
There are roughly like 10 million remittances that occur A DAY. If Telcoin could capture roughly 10 percent of that overall usage due to partnering with MNOs, removing the middleman, and reducing overall cost. That would be an additional 1 million transactions a day. But it's actually more when you think in terms of the blockchain. It ends up being a series of transactions.
Deposit -> Swap -> Send -> Swap -> Reconcile
And could be more depending on if the user at the other end can just use their Tel wallet as a form of payment.
So now you have a system that might be a 5 to 1 in terms of remittances and you've added on 5 million transactions a day.
You add in additional players like the game network et al. and we could be talking about some serious traffic.
And the calculation above for getting to 50 million is just based on constraining supply via usage. You will have MNOs and Application Developers and Users all staking TEL for various reasons that will further take supply down and increase price. So we don't NEED TO get to 50 million transactions.
MATIC itself was .01 until the network got up and running and then shot up to a high somewhere around $3. If TEL were to even scratch the surface of that it would get to where MATIC is now, looking at the screen, is .20.
I mean I would be happy with that!

The Staking works hand in hand with the LPs.
Staking
1. Restricts supply
2. Drives more usage of the application through stake and refer rewards
3. More usage of the application means more fees generated for the LPs.
Now, if we use this period of time to generate growth in the number of users and transactions through the app....
When the network comes online... that usage will eventually move to the network and drive fees ... which will go into the coffers of the TAO ... to feed into new and better types of programs and rewards.
I am barely old enough to remember when MATIC was .01 until they really got the network ramped up...
