At UCD we believe strongly in Academic Freedom, which conveniently keeps us from doing anything about certain potentially litigious Far-Right academics, while not extending to doing anything to defend our academics from our Chinese tech giant friends outside of One Internal Email
Our energy rating and friendly, collegiate atmosphere makes Sutherland School of Law not only place of learning, but an excellent place to come in from the cold and take off your mittens
Our state of the art building, finished in 2013, is part of why Sutherland School of Law is a great place to study, socialise, have a breakdown and catch Covid 19 when classes resume
One of our most proudly underfunded buildings is James Joyce library. Due to COVID 19 restrictions capacity is reduced to 50 for a student population of 30,000. In order to access the library students must engage in a fight to the death with 600 others.

We have a detailed plan for the upcoming trimester. There are several phases. We plan to phase in certain stages. There will also be a phasing out. The plan may be altered. It may not be altered The plan definitely exists, but perhaps not in the traditional sense of the word.
We at UCD are aware that not knowing whether or not you will have in-person learning this Autumn causes stress as students stuggle with accommodation, lack of summer work, commuting costs, and social impact.
To mitigate the strain, we suggest you maybe chill the fuck out
Today is the 7th anniversary of the death of Margaret Thatcher, a scientist and barrister, as well as an absolute wagon and a war criminal. https://t.co/jxDL34ZC4H
@gaagrinch One important facet of what we teach is the ability to assess the credibility of sources, and verifying people are who they seem to be! Hope this helps!
It is all to common that students struggle with the high cost of textbooks.
Here in UCD, as we do not want to pay for more library resources, we suggest saving on books by simply reading the minds of students who can afford them
Take home exams are an innovative way to adapt to these times. Instead of replacing exams with normal essays, students will have 11 days to write 6 fully referenced essays, totalling roughly 12,000 words.
What a sense of achievement those who survive will feel!
Well done to our students & staff for adjusting so quickly to teaching at-distance! And remember students, if you are struggling, that is completely your own fault for being stupid!

A beloved statue which sits in front of our main entrance, 'Judgement' depicts a student being rebuked for handing in an essay in a font other than Times New Roman. A valuable lesson for all.
