Since our last Elec Team update on the display, we've had a few changes.
We've swapped the 3.2" driver display for the 2.4" The 3.2' screen will instead be used for the overall electrical system and placed in the rear.
The motor is made up of two parts: a rotor & a stator. The rotor is composed of magnets which are attracted to a rotating magnetic field generated by the stator.
Emrax 208 is a synchronous motor, rotating at the same speed as the magnetic field generated by the stator.

In the UCDFS car, we're using the Emrax 208, a three phase axial flux motor to power our car.
It weighs 9.1kg and gives out 114 horsepower. It was originally designed to power small aircrafts so we’re packing some serious power!
Max Verstappen’s new and improved Honda-powered car posted faster times in testing last week so F1 fans around the world will be excited to see whether Red Bull can mount a serious championship challenge from the get-go this year.
With testing having wrapped up last week, all eyes now are on Bahrain. The 2021 F1 season will kick of next weekend with the Bahrain GP. This year’s championship is expected to be the most competitive in years, with Red Bull mounting a legitimate challenge to Mercedes’ dominance.
When disconnected, the car cannot power the tractive system and will remain this way until the connection has been closed.
The HVD is disconnected when moving the vehicle on the competition site and when taking part in static events.
