Why don't we have enough data on women? Because of:
📈 Bias in data collection
🚫 A lack of sex-disaggregated data
But also because traditional data collection methods often don’t fully capture women’s experiences or participation in the informal or formal economy.
Let’s talk gender data!
Data powers the world’s decisions. It helps us focus on the right problems to tackle or assess progress toward our goals, including the #SDGs.
Yet today, we still don’t have nearly enough of it on women’s lives or the challenges they face.
