@KaiRuessSF That's my issue. They tried to throw an homage to the old CA logo but the execution was poor. The wishbone C is so overused in sports (Reds, Bears, Indians, Twins, bunch of high schools). It lacks creativity-- something I expect a lot of, from UC Davis.

@VintagePlough on losing FCS Freshman All-American Caden Pinnick to the transfer portal after the program offered him significant money to stay.

Plough points out his track record with QB's in Case Cookus (NAU, 2014 - Jerry Rice award winner), Blake Kemp (NAU, 2015), Jake Maier (UC Davis, 2019), Fernando Mendoza (Cal, 2023 - 2025 Heisman Trophy winner) & Miles Hastings (UC Davis, 2024) as they reason why he beleives Davis is the best place to develop quarterbacks in the country
