Q7: My kids love Osmo and it’s a big part of choices in my classroom. It’s relevant, critical-thinking manipulative screen-time. Doesn’t get much better than that! #OsmoEDU

Q6: My go-to game for social skills is the Pizza game. One does the pizza making and the other does the money. They learn to rely on each other. It also allows me to show them that encouragement of their peers goes farther than bad-mouthing them. #OsmoEDU

A4: I literally always hear something along the lines of - “That’s so cool! How can we make it even MORE cool?!” They always want to find ways to make their Newton paths more interesting. #OsmoEDU

A2: Gifted kids struggle with normal conversations and with anxiety in social situations. They typically overthink everything! It’s important for them to have opportunities to learn how to reach agreements and compromise in social situations. #OsmoEDU

I’d even argue that formatives shouldn’t contribute to the grade at all. Why grade on practice?

Summative = summary of learning

Treat them totally differently...I allow retakes on formatives but not summatives

Think of working on something during practice...many times to get it right...games...one shot
