Had a fantastic time at #Hackathon2020plus1 this weekend! I worked with two fantastic @UCL_IHI PhD students (@jas_gr and Asma) who expanded my knowledge of #RStats Shiny apps :)
The hackathon also allowed me to develop my ideas for a couple of new R functions. More to come!
#phdlife week 143
Had a lot of fun organising the @UCL_CodeClub#hackathon2020plus1. Wonderful to see cool projects all around and learned a lot, both technical and soft / professional skills :)
Had a lot of fun participating in the @UCL_CodeClub hackathon this weekend. First time making a website with interactive plots! https://t.co/LwFPcapmX1
We'd like to remind you, however, that in #hackathon2020plus1, we put collaboration before competition so everyone is a winner!
That is all for now, thank you for tuning in and see you all in our future events! 👋
#hackathon2020plus1 officially ends!
Thank you to all participants and congratulations to Abubakar Tafida, Benita E Benoi, and Stefanie Mueller from Team 6 for winning the best project 🏆🥇 with their cool Covid-19 simulation dashboard!
If you're a Covid-19 data geek, you may like another cool Shiny app dashboard exploring Covid-19 vaccination rate vs. various population parameters developed by Yaning Wu, Asma Alfayez, and Jasmine Gratton from Team 2
#hackathon2020plus1 Day 2 is happening!
Teams are continuing their hacks and will showcase their project at 15.00-17.00 BST on @gather_town (sneak peek below)!
