@maphumanintent So why did he run over, grab the woman with the red knapsack and held on to her while ICE tried to pull him off of her? At first you might think he was shielding her from the pepper spray, but he would not let go. Dragging her down to the street with him.
I've come to the conclusion that the current state of the countryโthe protests, unrest, and divisionโisn't because Trump is President. It's because many Democrats and liberals still refuse to accept that he won the 2024 election and is back in office.
@Biblicalman So, Romans 10:9 says, "if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." But who are we to judge his heart after his confession on Jan 1, and his death a week later?
While this measure may deter predatory credit card practices, it is conceivable that these companies might respond by eliminating grace periods and initiating interest accrual from the first day of a transaction. People who take out cards of 30% are not thinking about the high rate, they just want "free" money.
Can we settle this question? Which is correct?
1. Wet the toothbrush, apply tooth paste, then brush.
2. Dry brush, apply tooth paste, wet both, then brush.
3. Dry brush, apply toothpaste, brush. No water
What I remember was that blood was blue in veins because it was on its way back to the heart and lungs after being depleted of its oxygen. Arterial blood is always red because it is oxygenated.
When a wound cuts a vein it turns red outside of the body once it hits air.
At least that's what I remember.
@lippyent We used to call any non-brand sneakers Skippies, or Skips for short. Like the ones you buy from a bin in the supermarket. I heard a company took that slang name and turned it into a brand.
Republican Senators can't nuke the filibuster because Democrats and the Media will complain that they are destroying tradition and a threat to democracy....or something. [end sarcasm]
@WarlordDilley While in this case "sweep the leg" reference sounds like the best option, just remember in the long run Johnny lost the tournament to a weaker Danny due to overconfidence.
I remember this:
ย In 2014, while serving as the mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio was widely mocked for using a knife and fork to eat a slice of pizza during a public event.
