RAIN! ☔️🌧☂️
UCMPD would like to remind everyone to please drive careful in the rain. Leave a little early, drive a little slower and be mindful of other drivers and pedestrians.
It’s also important to inspect your tires and windshield wipers.
Happy Friday! #ucmpd#ucmerced
Last week, UCMPD Officers were sent to the Caldor Fire in El Dorado County to assist with emergency evacuations.
The fire is now at 217,000 acres and 50% contained. #ucmpd#ucmerced#CaldorFire
Today we conducted building evacuation training with UC Merced Emergency Management and our partners at Cal Fire.
It’s always good catching up with them and making sure we’re on the same page in case of an emergency. #ucmpd#ucmerced
HAPPY MONDAY!
This morning, an officer stopped on Lake Road to take this picture! The bike path on Lake Road offers some great views year round.
We hope you have a great Monday, we’ll be here if you need us! #ucmpd#ucmerced
As another weekend comes to a close, we get closer to seeing our students, staff and faculty back on campus. We’re excited to start interacting with our community again. Scholar’s Lane isn’t the same without skateboards, scooters and tabling events. Have a great week! #ucmerced
Today we had a special visitor! The Merced Hmong Culture Camp stopped by to deliver some of their artwork as a token of appreciation to front line workers. Thank you for your support and thank you for the pictures! #ucmpd#ucmerced
UCMPD Officers were flagged down by a citizen who was taking pictures of his vehicle while visiting campus. He asked if he could take photographs of a patrol vehicle to show support for law enforcement. Nolan Salazar is a local military veteran and photographer. Here’s his work!
