The UCLA Police Department is grieving the loss of K-9 Blake, who passed away today due to a medical condition.
Blake served with loyalty, energy, and heart throughout his caree. He retired in December 2025 after 6.5 years of dedicated service.

Yesterday, Officer Martin graduated from the Los Angeles County Sheriffโs Department and was sworn in as the newest member of the UCLA Police Department. Heโll be patrolling campus after additional training. ๐

At 2:10 PM, UCLAPD received a report that a person brandished a gun during a road-rage incident at Parking Structure 8. Officers responded, took the suspect into custody, and confirmed the firearm was an airsoft gun.
There is no threat to the community.
