@_jjossuee@the_bonnfire “There are better MLS players …” the guy was named to the league’s Best XI literally last season. Can you people please try to be normal?
Things most Americans agree on:
Groceries cost too much.
Tariffs suck and make no sense.
Congress and Presidents shouldn’t trade stocks.
The debt is a mess.
The border should be secure, but legal immigration is good.
Endless wars are stupid, especially ones that nobody wants and have never been explained.
Americans are exhausted.
AI is like my new best friend that also might be trying to take my job, my ability to think for myself, and my humanity in the process. Yo like I love you, but WTF, but I still love you.
Diversity is actually awesome! The opposite is boring AF.
Canadians are super fucking cool.
Mexicans are chill.
Putin isn’t a good guy looking out for America’s best interest. Rocky IV and Miracle are great movies.
Good neighbors are a blessing.
Freedom of religion and coexistence without having to blow each other up is probably a good idea.
We all question, are we alone in the universe?
We all fuck up along the way.
Epstein didn’t hang himself.
The Trumps and Epstein were best friends for decades. It’s like Bert trying to tell us Ernie was just an acquaintance in the same social scene on Sesame Street back in the day.
The Cowboys suck. Go Birds!
Things we’re told to fight about:
Me.
Laptop.
Vaccines.
Transgenders in sports.
Pronouns.
That’s the joke.
UConn legend Cyle Larin — who’s preparing to play in his second World Cup — seals a permanent move to Southampton after impressing on the south coast of England on loan from Spanish club Mallorca. @UConnMSOC
This 7-0 World Cup game is consuming my soul. Absolutely wild simulator. What do you mean that team got knocked out in the last 16 while the other two made the final?
Luca Koleosho was born in Norwalk and played for Trumbull United when he was 7. Played on loan at Espanyol and Paris FC this season from Burnley.
Won the Under-19 European Championship with Italy in 2023.
Connecticut born winger Luca Koleosho 🇺🇸🇳🇬🇮🇹 played 90 minutes for Italy’s senior team in a 1-0 friendly against Luxembourg.
The 21 year old has made it clear that Italy is his number one choice, and awaits being cap-tied to the Azzurri in upcoming camps. #USMNT
@Dean_GK@TheAthleticFC I’m pessimistic about certain things related to this World Cup, but I think the worry about lightning delays are overblown. On average, MLS experiences 5 to 10 delays across the entire season, mostly between the two Florida clubs, Orlando and Miami.
@Dean_GK@TheAthleticFC I really wouldn’t be too surprised. I’ve left matches here in the U.S. with my clothes soaked through from torrential downpour. And below is a picture of a World Cup qualifying match played in the U.S. during the spring!
Typically, lightning is the only issue. It’s about safety.
@AriFleischer We’re years past the point of needing to hear a single word from you. Shut your bitch ass up, you Iraq War defending, genocide supporting, pedo protecting piece of shit. You were a central figure of an administration that is a stain on our country’s history. Fuck off.
@faizolana I’ve watched the sport all my life. Leagues across the world. I’ve traveled to watch my friends play professionally. Been to a Women’s World Cup semifinal. Worked for seven years with guys who played for Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Newcastle and Liverpool. I think I know a bit.
@Dean_GK@TheAthleticFC You’re just finding out about it now but it’s a normal thing. It doesn’t affect football in Europe as much because your normal thunderstorm season is during the football offseason. Our summer outdoor sports (soccer, baseball, even golf and tennis) experience this often.
The Indiana Fever have revoked the credential of the longest-serving reporter covering the team. Scott Agness announced that he has been banned because of his reporting on Caitlin Clark’s surprising absence from a game in May. Banning a reporter is never the right thing to do.
