@DrPastry My understanding of it is that PAs are not qualified so the salary situation makes no sense to me! The qualified dr’s on the lowest salary spend a lot of time doing their own job, plus the parts that PAs are not allowed to do, despite their higher pay. What the hell is going on?

If people think it’s bad in the hospitals when the junior doctors strike, wait until they all bugger off abroad where they have a better work/life balance and twice the salary. Then the chaos becomes the new normal! The ones on strike now are the ones who stayed!
