Haven't found one yet. Some different undead Beholders. Talk of Beholder Mages. But not any Beholder Liches... . Are Liches a form of the undead that they cannot become?

AD&D 1e, if Large size implies lots of HP then there are some weapons that won't help that much:
Axe, hand 1d4
Club 1d3
Dart 1d2

Few others that might help out after 4-5 hits, that is if combat lasts that long.

Ranger 1e, Killer Of Giants. +1 damage per level to Giants. The necessary class to have along for G123.
Funny that Gygax included things like Orcs and Goblins in his 1e definition of Giants. No idea what he was thinking there.

@CalstaffTheGold Strange thought is that he thought of them as closely related, goblins being a cousin of the Hill Giant. Chainmail doesn't say anything about it in the Goblin/Kobold listing.

AD&D 1e, anyone ever play with some of the less familiar weapons? Lots of them listed:
Voulge, Jo Stick, Glaive, Ranseur, etc... . A lot of them do decent damage and have competitive attributes.
Who wouldn't want a 8' long Glaive-Guisarme?

@its_just_lowery @roguecaliber Shadowrun has stuff like that. You can stick your mind into computers. Games aren't super big but you can do stuff like that. Actually I think you have to or you won't get through the game.

Rangers must hang out in the wilderness just waiting from something big and evil to come walking by. Orcs are definitely gone by the time 4th level comes around. With the right long sword they won't last more than 1 hit.. lucky if they do.
