Honest advice for every founder building right now.

Stop giving your designer tasks. Give them a problem.

There is a massive difference between "design this screen" and "we are losing users at checkout, figure out why." One gets you a deliverable.

The other gets you a solution.

Design is how you solve problems in marketing, in sales, in engineering, in every part of your business.

The founders who understand this build differently.

The other thing nobody talks about is how powerful it is to see the end clearly and walk backwards.

That skill is underrated and I wish I had it much earlier.
