Today was our PhD student Jordi’s last day before she goes to Cambridge University to start her Post-Doc. We have loved working with you but we wish you all the luck in the world to start something new. We will miss you!
Was super exciting to hear work from @JenWargoMD ‘s group at MD Anderson on the microbiome in cancer and links to treatment efficacy. Links very nicely to our preprint article linking antibiotic use to acceleration in breast cancer growth . #KScancerimm

We are so pleased that our exciting research is getting out there! Here is our pre-print on the link between the gut microbiome and breast cancer progression. Watch this space for more info... 🔬 #preprint#bioRxiv

Reminiscing on how great it was to hear @Ben_garrod talk refreshingly about doing a PhD. Agree it’s meant to be tough but so nice to hear someone dare to mention it’s possible to have a 9-5 life! All of us from @UEA_CancerRes really enjoyed the talk!
Excited to announce the Robinson Lab is moving home. Thanks to @hall_lab we’ve gotten into microbiome work and are now part of @TheQuadram. I’ve just taken up a new Research Leader post and we’ll be moving into this lovely building as soon as it’s ready. Still part of @biouea too
The Lilac Ladies awarded a bursary to @uniofeastanglia student James to take on a summer project researching cancer. They joined James at the end of the project to see how he got on and for a tour of the Lab. James thanked them and said he loved every minute.
