UEL now ranks number one among London’s full-range modern universities and 58th nationally.

This transformation reflects our commitment to a careers-first education through our Practice Makes Professional Curriculum and UEL Careers Guarantee.

• Graduate Outcomes: Fastest-rising university in England for positive graduate outcomes

The University of East London has co-founded the national Civic Alchemy Network to turn community research into real-world action 🤝 Launched at Windsor Castle with @DerbyUni, @ImperaAnalytics & @Socitm, the network puts community voices at the centre of public policy.

As UEL's Dr Darren Sharpe explains: "Public and civic engagement isn't an add-on to what universities do — it should be at the heart of it... Civic Alchemy is a deliberate attempt to bring voices from the margins into the centre."

Local authorities, researchers, and civic groups are invited to join to gain access to toolkits, mentoring, and collaborative funding bids.
