🚨UENR final-year students will not be attending lectures this semester due to a shortage of lecture halls.
The government should intervene before it’s too late. This is embarrassing
They said the organisation responsible for this project has an issue with the contractor ie owing but SIGA reported the same organisation is having a surplus of 4.1billion (getfund). This project has been stalled for more than 4yrs why are they silent . #fixuenrnow
Hello X/UENR family,
I appreciate your support for the #fixuenrnow agenda. We had an incredible “X Space” yesterday. It was good to hear from past and present student leaders, current and past students of UENR and sympathizers.
We are not stopping here! We push till the government, the university management and all other relevant stakeholders listen to our voices.
Let’s march on for results. ✊🏾

The new UENR auditorium, also known as the Bank of Ghana Auditorium, currently lacks essential facilities such as adequate seating, air-conditioning units, and other necessary equipment. As a result, it is not yet a fully functional and conducive space for academic activities and student use.
Despite being a significant infrastructure project, the auditorium remains incomplete. The absence of proper chairs makes it difficult for students to sit comfortably during lectures, seminars, and other university events.
The lack of air-conditioning further affects the learning environment, especially during hot weather, making long sessions uncomfortable and less productive. In addition, other basic equipment such as a reliable sound system, projectors, and proper stage facilities is either missing or inadequate.
For the auditorium to serve its intended purpose as a modern learning and gathering space, these critical facilities need to be provided. Completing and fully equipping the auditorium would greatly improve the quality of teaching and learning, enhance student comfort, and enable the university to host larger academic and official events in a suitable environment.
We therefore call on the Management of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) and the Governing Council to urgently address this issue and prioritise the provision of the necessary facilities to make the auditorium fully operational.

We started UENR with the hopes that infrastructure will gradually improve on campus.
I saw no signs of growth throughout my 4-year stay in the University.
This is a clarion call to action!
