“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” — Matthew 6:21

Jesus does not merely tell us to follow our hearts.

He warns us that what we treasure shapes our hearts.

So ask yourself: What receives your time, attention, money, and deepest concern?

Your priorities may reveal what your words conceal.

Discipline is not a way to purchase God’s love.

It is one way we respond to the grace we have received.

Pray because you belong to God.

Study Scripture because you need His truth.

Practise self-control because your life is meant to honour Him.

Grace is not the enemy of growth.

Success can become an idol without looking like one.

An idol isn't necessarily a statue.

Anything that becomes more important to you than obedience to God can become an idol.

Money.

Career.

Status.

Relationships.

Influence.

Even ministry.

The question isn't:

“Is this thing good?”

The question is:
“Has this good thing become my ultimate thing?”

God didn’t remain distant from us. He came near in the person of Jesus Christ.

“Immanuel” means “God with us.” — Matthew 1:23

Jesus came to save sinners. He died for our sins, rose again, and offers forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who turns to Him in repentance and faith.

If you haven’t trusted Christ, come to Him today. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. — Acts 16:31 ✝️

For me, Matthew 7:23:

“Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”

That’s terrifying—not because they didn’t know about Jesus, but because they thought they belonged to Him.

It’s a sobering reminder: religion, works, and outward profession cannot replace a genuine relationship with Christ.
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith.” — 2 Corinthians 13:5

This is the part many people miss! 🔥

Philippians 4:13 isn’t saying, “I can achieve anything I want because Christ is with me.”

Paul was saying, “I can face anything—abundance, hunger, prosperity, or need—because Christ gives me strength.”

The victory isn’t getting everything we want.
The victory is remaining faithful in every circumstance.

Christ is enough. 🙏🏽

@Truth_matters20 Amen! The natural man cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 2:14). Yet the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). The Holy Spirit convicts the heart and draws us to Christ. Salvation is entirely by God's grace!

“Isn’t Christianity just blind faith?”
Not according to the New Testament.

Christian faith is trust—but it is trust grounded in what God has revealed and in the person of Jesus Christ.

Questions are not automatically rebellion. But honest investigation should be willing to follow the evidence, even when the answer challenges us.

Your identity is not something you have to invent from scratch.

The world often says, “Look within and define yourself.”

Christianity begins somewhere else: you are created by God, accountable to Him, and invited to find your life in Christ.

Your desires matter—but they are not your creator.

Fair challenge. I should be precise: I cannot prove Matthew's authorship with absolute certainty.

However, the Gospel's anonymity within its narrative does not establish that Matthew did not write it. The earliest surviving external testimony, including Papias as quoted by Eusebius, associates Matthew with a Gospel tradition.

The fact that it was written in Koine Greek also does not, by itself, disprove Matthew's authorship.

Historical inquiry requires weighing the evidence, not dismissing a traditional attribution simply because the author does not identify himself within the text.

A customer asking questions is not wasting your time.

They may be trying to decide whether they can trust you.

Answer honestly. Explain limitations. Don’t pressure people into buying something that isn’t right for them.

Trust is built when your words match the product.

Amen! The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith. Our hope is not in a dead religious leader, but in the risen Savior who conquered death.

“If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:14

He is risen indeed!

Exactly. Repentance doesn't compete with grace—it responds to grace.

We don't repent to earn salvation; we repent because we recognize our sin and our need for a Savior.

Jesus said, “Repent and believe in the gospel.” — Mark 1:15

Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ, not by our works. Turn to Christ. Trust in Him. He saves.

Amen. 🙏 Jesus Christ is the one Mediator between God and humanity. We don't need another mediator when God Himself has provided His Son.

If you have not trusted Christ, come to Him today. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and receive the salvation He freely offers.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. ✝️

“Be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.” — James 1:19

Notice the order: listen first, speak slowly, control your anger.

Many conflicts grow because we prepare our reply before we have understood the other person.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is listen carefully.

Before correcting someone publicly, ask yourself:

Am I trying to restore this person—or simply prove that I’m right?

Truth matters. So does the spirit in which we speak it.
