BME Graduate Student Council and the BME Idea Committee is holding an event on November 8th to bring in Arab-American female professionals in STEM to discuss their academic and career journeys. Please see the attached flyer and RSVP via the QR code.
The first iteration of our Banned Books Club will be taking place on November 4th from 3-4pm in BMS JG32. We will be discussing the book "Yaqui Delgado wants to Kick your Ass" by Cuban American Author Meg Medina. You do not have to read the whole book to attend the discussion!
We hope you will join us for our October GBM on Friday, October 21st from 12-1pm in JG32. Some of our members will be leading us in an Ally Safe Space workshop, using materials generated by the American Society for Engineering Education and the LGBTQ+ Advocacy in STEM groups.
