Transparency time:

I quit my 9-5 back in March because I hated my job, wanted to do UGC full time, and had savings to get me through the first few months of growing my business. I almost gave up in April because of how little I made. Here's why I'm glad I didn't:

March: $100
April: $135
May (so far): $1200

I may not be making 5 figures yet, but if I had given up, I wouldn't have hit that $1200 mark only HALFWAY through the month.

Moral of the story? Keep going. Not everyone's journey is linear and not everyone blows up immediately. I'm happy with where I'm at and I can only grow from here.
