These type of student projects are ideal for the course “Sustainable and Circular Business Models in the Textile Industry”, a course co-developed by the Metodic partners. As part of #Metodic, TUK could buy licences for Audaces360 and Audaces Digiflash for use by their students.
With the #Metodic erasmus+ project, UGent aims to enhance the capacity of Sub-Saharan Universities. At Technical University of Kenya the students were engaged to explore sustainability and self-expression through the transformation of discarded materials.
With the #Metodic project, UGent aims to enhance the capacity of Sub-Saharan Universities. At Jimma University, Ethiopia, new equipment was installed, such as a solvent extraction system, and a microwave reactor.
In addition to the accredited tests, we also perform other tests on various textile and related products.

Since 15 April 2026, BELAC has renewed our ISO 17025 accreditation for 5 years. With this, we build upon a long tradition as an accredited laboratory for testing artificial grass, floor coverings, and geotextiles, among other things.
