DKICP Students from APhA-ASP collaborated with KTA Pharmacy in the County of Hilo Flu Clinic yesterday to bring immunization, blood pressure screenings, and also provide counseling for patients!

Members of the Pacific Islander Mobile Screening (PIMSC) travelled to Mountain View on Saturday to perform free health screenings (Blood Pressure, Glucose, A1c, Cholesterol, BMI) at Ohana Day! This was a fun family event complete with food, crafts, games and more!

Congratulations to our second year student pharmacist, Henry Quach, for placing first in APhA-ASP’s local National Patient Counseling Competition! He will be representing DKICP and will be competing at the 2019 APhA Annual Meeting, which takes place in Seattle, Washington.

The Rho Chi Society and HSSHP/AMCP hosted a formal SOAP presentation where 4 groups made up of first, second, and third year pharmacy students assessed a patient case and provided their clinical recommendations. Thank you to everyone who participated!
