These next series of posts are going to be a little more informational. Whether you're a newer member of the sport or just want to find out more information about all the different positions in American football, these posts will be for you.

To kick this series off, we start with the most notorious position of them all, the quarterback.

The Quarterback is the field general and this position is the focal point of any offense.

They're the player who will receive play calls and orchestrate the offense into performing the play to perfection. They will always receive the ball and distribute it via either a hand-off to a running back or via a throw to a receiver.
