Introducing Fellowship Fridays! We offer 16 different fellowships across our 9 divisions. Every Friday, we'll highlight the people, curricula, and atmosphere here at @IowaMed and @uihealthcare (spoiler: the word 'collegial' comes up quite a bit).

Congratulations to the incredible class of graduating fellows! 🎓 It’s a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye, but we couldn't be prouder of this outstanding group. Your dedication and hard work have been truly inspiring. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!🌟 #PCCM
In 2017, @uihealthcare didn't have a coordinated lung cancer screening program in place. Today, thanks to the teams that helped put a program in place, UI Health Care is leading the country in patient return rates for lung cancer screenings.https://t.co/jvGbwVRdZP

One of the best times of the year. It's an honor to contribute to the growth and development of future leaders in pulmonary medicine. Cheers to the next group of pulmonary fellows! May your aspirations soar, your knowledge deepen, and your impact be profound #MatchDay#MedTwitter
Today, a special guest from Pulmonary department @UIowaPCCM for our Special ID Grand Round, Dr. Struble, presented with Dr. Suzuki on the topic “Cavitary Lung Disease: Medical Emergency or Exercise in Patience.” Interesting to hear about bronchoscopy.
Robert Blount, MD, received a pilot grant from @EHSRC_Iowa through @UIowaCPH to study the effects of #PFAS on chronic lung disease. This will supplement the support he received from @UIchildrens this year to study its effects on childhood lung disease.
