The University of Johannesburg has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Water Resources Commission (WRC) of Ghana marking the beginning of a promising international collaboration.
The agreement was signed by UJ Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof. Letlhokwa Mpedi, alongside His Royal Majesty Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, Board Chairman of the Water Resources Commission.
This partnership will foster knowledge exchange, joint research, and capacity development across key areas including water resource management, innovation, and academic programmes. It also opens opportunities for staff and student mobility, collaborative projects, and meaningful engagement that extends beyond borders
Together, we are building bridges between South Africa and Ghana, advancing solutions that respond to real-world challenges while shaping the future of sustainable development.
