Today, we are flashing back to when our biology students received their certificates from the British Biology Olympiad Competition. 🧬
Two of our students won silver, which was the top 15% of nearly 15,000 entrants, and two students won bronze, which was the top 30%! 🤩
🥼🔬🏆 Our congratulations to the 25 Sixth Form Biologists who took part in this year's British Biology Olympiad competition at #Hertswood.
In the Olympiad, students have to compete with their problem solving skills and understanding of core principles. @UKBioComps

All U6 Biologists and a small number of L6 recently completed the British Biology Olympiad, taken by over 15,000 students in 900 schools worldwide.
The Gold Award was awarded to the top 5% of students - well done to Hamza S in the Upper Sixth who achieved this. (1/3)

Biology Olympiad success at Wallace!
Congratulations to the Biology students in Years 13 and 14 who recently received their certificates from this years’ British Biology Olympiad. The cohort have continued the success of their predecessors with some excellent results.
Congratulations to 4 Year 14 students from Miss Laverty's class who were awarded 2 Silver, one Highly Commended and one Participation certificates in the 2024 British Biology Olympiad. Out of a field of over 15000 students.#teamknock
Our Sixth Formers shone in the Royal Society of Biology Olympiad with 13 certificates: 3 gold, 6 silver & 4 bronze. Special applause to two Yr 12 students who clinched silver awards, a rare feat given the tough questions spanning both years of the A Level syllabus. Kudos to all!
Our Year 12 A-Level Biologists took part in a national Biology competition and we are very proud that they have received their Biology Olympiad certificates.
