TANK’s TAKES - @BraydenParks27
For those of you who are new here to the page or new to football. We here at Dos Leprechauns love to teach the game. For those who have been here awhile you know that we are quite partial to the 9 most important positions in football, the 5 offensive linemen and 4 defensive linemen. Without the 5 offensive linemen leading the charge up front, those offensive skill players don't have holes to run through, time to throw in the pocket and time to get open on the perimeter. On the 4 defensive linemen, creating pressure, stuffing the run and getting a pass rush can wreck an offensive backfield and dictate how the game is going to be played. In the game of football, it starts and ends in the trenches. As Tank says "Linemen are my weapons, my MVP's."
If there's a city that has started to really restore the luster of producing top talent left and right the past 4 years or so, like it did back in the day. It's Chicago, Illinois aka Notre Dame's backyard. Back in the day the Irish used to flat clean house in landing the talent it takes to compete for National Championships in the Windy City. There's a league there that is really on the up and up on being one of the best conferences in all of high school football in the Chicago Catholic League. Over the past 4 years or so the Irish have been walking out to the backyard for talent because of that league producing the talent it takes to compete for National Championships.
Meet Brayden Parks! Today, CHOSE HARD and will be another weapon for @CoachPartridge
THE FIRST APPETIZER: Brayden is a multi sport athlete as a baseball player. I'll say it again, college coaches absolutely love recruiting mult sport athletes. He plays his high school football at Brother Rice who is one of the best teams in the Chicago Catholic League. He was the Chicago Catholic League DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR! He is trained by former Irish defensive end/outside linebacker @K_Neal56 , who played during the Charlie Weis years. Kerry runs a big time Training Facility called WIN Performance out in Chicago with plenty of studs coming out of his facility left and right
STRENGTHS: Well lets state the obvious anytime you can get a UNICORN out of Chicago who's godfather is @chris_zorich , that's a good place to start. When you first turn on the tape of Brayden it's hard not to notice him. He is a WIDE BODY that blocks the sun out. He is BUILT..He has the ELITE OF THE ELITE FIRST STEP off the snap. Brayden gets those poor offensive linemen on SKATES and ON THEIR HEELS IMMEDIATELY!!
HE'S GOT KNOCKOUT POWER IN HIS! Brayden not only has the knockout power in his hands, but also has SPEED to where those poor offensive linemen don't know what hit em. Brayden can also flat out toss those poor offensive linemen around like rag dolls. And his short area explosiveness for a wide bodied 305lb hoss is UNFAIR!! He's a FREIGHT TRAIN when he gets vertical meaning when he rushes up field quarterbacks and tailbacks go LOOK OUT!!
Brayden's motor is RELENTLESS!! Brayden knows how to set up an offensive linemen when he rushes with his hands and has a few counter moves to him as well. As a guy who absolutely loves linemen IT'S WORTH OF THE PRICE OF ADMISSION!! That A GAP IS HIS!! He plays with good leverage and gets underneath the shoulder pads of the offensive linemen which makes it very hard for them to neutralize him. I also like how he will put his hands up to make quarterbacks change arm angles and bat the football down. Brayden flat knows how to lockout the offensive lineman, hold his gap, read and go light up the tailback.
PROJECTION: I have Brayden as a 5 star player. This 305lb behemoth is tailor made to be a BAD BAD BAD MAN, much like his godfather, Zoro. The amount of talent he has is just plain FILTHY! And he's only going to get better and better.
👇 prepare to be wowed

TANKS TAKES: ALBERT SIMIEN
What a run it has been the past couple weeks when it comes to Notre Dame Football recruiting. The amount of top flight prospects knocking down the door wanting to play here at College Football Heaven is just incredible. And here we are today with another one who knocked down the door wanting to don the gold helmet.
Meet Albert Simien, a 6-4 290lb offensive lineman out of Lake Charles.
A LITTLE APPETIZER: Albert is a multi sport athlete he plays basketball and is a shot putter on the track team, he throws 47 feet in the shot put. I'll say it again, college coaches absolutely love to recruit multi sport athletes. Even if you're not a prospective college athlete being a multi sport athlete makes you better all around no matter what sport it is.
STRENGTHS: First thing's first, anytime you can go into SEC Territory and especially Louisiana to get a stud out of there is MASSIVE!! Another thing is, big time recruits from the heart of SEC territory Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia will certainly take note of this as well. On to the film portion of this. As soon as you turn on the tape, it's not rocket science to find out where Albert is. HE IS A HOSS at 6-4 290 with a frame that can easily carry 320+ by the time it's all said and done. Tank here ABSOLUTELY LOVES MASSIVE OFFENSIVE LINEMEN!! He also has vines for arms. Why is that important in an offensive linemen, it helps keep those defensive linemen at a distance to lock them out and keep them away from your chest. He also lines up at left tackle for his high school. On his very first clip just melts my heart as an old school smash mouth power football guy that absolutely loves offensive linemen, you see Albert absolutely PUNCHING THOSE POOR DEFENSIVE LINEMEN IN THE MOUTH!! HE'S GOT POWER GALORE!!! Once Albert punches those defensive linemen in the mouth they go back and he will FLAT DRIVE THEM INTO THE GROUND!! OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT!! Albert should open up at PANCAKE HOUSE!! HE IS A PUNISHER!!! There's a couple of other beautiful sights of him run blocking where he gets his meat hooks onto these defensive linemen, drives them into the next county and then introduces them to the canvas. YES PLEASE!!! ENCORE ENCORE!! There's also several glorious clips of him just throwing these defensive linemen around like rag dolls and out of the club. These defensive linemen when he is in a phone booth with them want no part of Albert. Another thing I love about Albert is that once he gets done introducing himself and driving defensive linemen into the ground, he goes to look for some more defenders to throw them around like rag dolls, drive them to the Bayou for the Gators to eat or into the ground whichever comes first. Albert also keeps his feet moving, the amount of power in them tree trunks of his is INSANE!! There's a clip of him in pass pro where he just punches this defensive linemen and gets a knockout, then goes to go look to light up some more defenders. Albert can also get to the 2nd level (Linebackers) and go punch them in the mouth too, they want no part of him either. I also love his technique of how his shoulders and hips are always square, feet underneath him and plays with great leverage. He always has his hands on his hips like a Lawmen in The Wild West drawing his revolver from his holsters ready to punch. I can absolutely tell that he has been married to one of my favorite toys for offensive linemen, the shutes in practice for his pad level and how he moves vertically. Of course, he plays basketball too and the footwork from the basketball court is evident too especially as a puller and change of direction in run blocking. Albert does not lunge either when he goes to punch those defensive linemen in the mouth. In Pass Pro, he has a nice kick step and good change of direction to mirror edge rushers.
PROJECTION: we have Albert as NO DOUBT ABOUT IT a 5 STAR STUD!!!

The Senate's Commerce Committee has voted to pass the Protect College Sports Act to the Senate Floor, which means a full vote. It marks the first college sports bill to reach this point. There's still significant opposition from Big Ten and SEC, but another notable step.
got my heavyweight lifting in for the day. watched my cardinals take the mets to the woodshed. and since the nba finals is a blowout. guess i’ll turn on one of my favorite movies ever, kelly’s heroes.
wish i was up at the house that rockne built today scouting the top high school football players in the country for the irish invasion. and then adjusting my recruiting board.
Now for the Main Event Of The Evening on this 94 days til the Irish start the Revenge, Coming For Blood, Leave No Doubt and Win For Lou Tour 2026.We honor one of the absolute finest players to ever don the gold helmet. This stud hoss defensive end was one of the anchors on a talented Irish defensive line during the 1970s. He was a skilled pass rusher and run stuffer during his time. His list of accomplishments is legendary during his time at The House That Rockne Built. 2 time Team Captain a rare feat in the History of Notre Dame Football
2 Time All-American in 1976-1977
2 Time National Champ in 1973 and 1977
He racked up 219 tackles and 29 of those for loss. He was a difference maker. #94 Willie Fry

Milan Momcilovic is the PERFECT compliment to the two elite playmakers that Kentucky had already landed in the transfer portal.
Zoom Diallo & Alex Wilkins just got even better with Momcilovic in the fold.
Two 30%+ assist rate guys, but admittedly ball dominant and not high-level shooting threats. Their driving lanes just got a lot more open and when the defense does collapse they have the best shooter in the country to throw it to.
Not many teams in the country have an offseason haul as good as Diallo/Momcilovic/Wilkins + the retention of Moreno.
Mark Pope just landed arguably the best player in the portal this cycle.
Milan Momcilovic is an absolute baller and in my opinion, would have been one of the best steals in the draft.
Mark Pope heard the criticism and delivered, the cats will be alright.
