3. I was disappointed not to meet Great Yarmouth's Rupert Lowe MP at the Board, but happy to have the chance to catch up with Magdelene ward's Cllr Trevor Wainwright in the Town Hall and I'm looking forward to a meeting with the Leader soon.
I spent yesterday afternoon at Great Yarmouth Town Board, listening to presentations about the work that has been done so far to create a long term, 10 year plan for the town. This Plan will unlock funding from central government to deliver more for communities in Gt Yarmouth 🧵
2. As an elected representative for people in the town, attending these meetings is a useful way of getting insight to how, if opportunities arise, my own office could commission services and projects which help achieve those ambitions.
Thanks to everyone (all teenagers) who stopped for a chat while I was out this weekend on the Dereham beat. Seeing my home town through the Police's eyes was a really useful exercise and a good starting point before I head out in Norfolk more widely.
PCC, Sarah Taylor, was out and about in Dereham over the weekend with Beat Managers from @BrecklandPolice checking on potential hotspot areas for ASB. Sarah was interviewed on @BBCNorfolk today about this issue - listen here approx. 25 mins 11 secs in>>https://t.co/xnlNW2kJAh
Many of us are worried about yesterday's announcement on early prisoner release. The safety of our communities will always be the Force's number 1 priority. My office will continue to work closely with partners to address the problem.

My first accountability meeting with the Chief is coming up. During my campaign people consistently told me they would like answers to their questions about how policing responses - especially in our rural communities. Please get in touch with questions you'd like to be asked 👇
Don’t forget to submit your questions about crime and policing to PCC Sarah Taylor ahead of her accountability meeting with Norfolk's Chief Constable. Deadline for questions 5pm Sunday, 7 July. For more info >> https://t.co/Pm3D9aZPVR
Hi @RupertLowe10 yes, your letter is received. I'm on leave but I will respond properly to you of course. It looks as though you may not have clocked that my priorities in my campaign included women and girls' safety & creating safer streets for all of us. This hasn't changed.
@BenGoldsborough @southnorfolk@NorfolkLabourCC@LabourCC@rurallabouruk@EofELabour Thanks so for welcoming me today - it was great to make the most of my flying visit to the capital during my holiday! See you soon in Norfolk - let's keep talking about the response to those rural challenges that we (and the residents we represent) are so familiar with.
Quick trip to the Politics East sofa this morning with @ameliareynolds0 and sharing the sofa with @DanielZeichner and (virtually) @DaisyBlakemore
