❌ Day-one rights scrapped
✔️ Qualifying period cut to 6 months
⚖️ Automatic unfair dismissal rules unchanged
🛑 Future changes can’t be made by regulation — only by a new Act of Parliament.

@hewhowashereha1 Currently, only 45% of working age Scots pay income tax. Given there would likely be an exedos of higher rate tax payers in the event Scotland left the UK, this figure would likely become even lower, so can you explain where the money would come from to pay for everything?

@SNPforGlasgow Tourist tax!? This tariff applies to everyone, not just tourists, and so we all have to pay more! Another nail in the coffin by the snp, who have already turned Glasgow into a ghetto!! The sooner the snp are gone from ALL levels of government, the better!😡

@staylorish In the 2022–23 tax year,an estimated 4.6 million Scottish adults included about 2.7 million taxpayers,meaning 1.9 million (41 percent) did not pay income tax. For 2023–24, the figure dropped slightly—approximately 39 percent of adults are expected to pay no tax . #justsaying

Today, we pause to remember Victory in Europe Day — 8th May 1945 — when the guns fell silent across Europe and World War II came to an end on our continent. We honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all who served, and those who gave their lives for our freedom. Their legacy lives on in every act of peace and unity we strive for today.

@branditmanaged @MelissaLMRogers US Border Patrol controls the crossing from Canada to the US at land crossings and entry into the US at airports, so if there is an issue with drugs entering the US from Canada, that’s on US Border Patrol, not Canada.
