Thank you @NevadaTaxpayers for awarding Clark County with the Cashman Good Government Award for our Hospital 2 Home (H2H) program. H2H helps reduce long-term hospital stays by supporting individuals with complex discharge needs, easing transitions back home. A collaboration with @UMCSN ensures patients ready for discharge receive tailored H2H services, creating customized post-discharge plans that promote healing and minimize the risk of re-admission.
H2H serves over 700 individuals, generating an estimated $11.9 million in savings by preventing costly 30-day readmissions.
💕 We are spreading a little extra love ahead of Valentine's Day to patients at UMC Children's Hospital! Members of UMC's Patient Experience team distributed special cards and care kits donated by generous community members. Thank you to our donors!

I was thrilled to be at the opening of @UMCSN new Online Care Connection Center in #Laughlin. This marks a major milestone for our community in District A by bringing more accessible healthcare to residents.
Since 2010, the Spirit of Children Program has raised more than $1.6 million dollars for UMC Children's Hospital to support vital Child Life programs that make the hospital experience less scary for young patients.

💙 UMC recently celebrated Emergency Nurses Week! Emergency nurses meet patients during some of their most vulnerable moments with compassion and expertise. We are so grateful to our dedicated nurses in both our adult and pediatric emergency departments.
This morning marked a milestone as Clark County and @UMCSN opened Southern Nevada's first Crisis Stabilization Center!
This facility represents an important first step in addressing community behavioral health needs and will provide 24/7 behavioral health services designed to de-escalate and stabilize individuals experiencing mental health crises, with or without co-occurring substance use disorders.
The center will accept drop-offs from law enforcement and EMS, as well as individuals seeking help voluntarily. Services will be available to adults 18 years and older regardless of insurance status, with treatment lasting from a few hours up to 24 hours for stabilization.
There’s something new blooming in the Las Vegas Medical District! 🌿✨
@umcsn’s healing gardens are designed to soothe the soul and support recovery because healing happens inside and outside the hospital walls. 💖
