Earlier this week marked the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the Ella Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center on the #UMES campus. The dedication took place on Oct. 24, 1974. It was attended by former Maryland Governor Marvin Mandel, state officials & Ella Fitzgerald.
