University of Miami women’s golf standout Dewi Weber, B.S.C. ’18, continues to make Cane history on the LPGA Tour.

Dewi, who competed for the U from 2015 to 2019, earned a career-best tied for third finish at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, her highest finish in a major to date.

From Miami to the national music community, Ryan J. Kerwin, M.M. ’21, continues to share his artistry as a trumpeter, composer, arranger, and educator.

His latest project, Trio! at the West Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts, features original compositions inspired by the places and experiences that shaped his early career, including his time in Miami. Recorded live for students, the performance reflects creativity, collaboration, and the lasting influence of a Frost education.

Recently, the UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum 2026 Fan Fest and Celebrity Fishing Tournament brought alumni, fans, families, anglers, Hall of Famers, and special guests together in Islamorada for an unforgettable weekend of connection, celebration, and friendly competition.
