"I've been able to be a part of a few athletic departments that had really successful Olympic sports, particularly on the women's side of things. Saw the real value in that, right?"
@RUAthletics AD @ZinnKeli believes women's and Olympic sports have a certain value and can serve as a brand statement when it comes to Scarlet Knight athletics:
"There's a significant brand value and momentum that's taken place in recent years relative to women's sports, so you'll see us lean into that here and thrilled with the opportunity to do so."

Never too early to talk postseason.🏟️
@ACUsports AD @ZackLassiter regals what it would take to have home @NCAA_FCS playoff games in Abilene: "Like as the record would show, we don't lose very often at Wildcat Stadium, right? Each of the last two seasons have ended with us on the road. And so we are looking at all the things that the FCS committee values when assigning seeds in the playoff."
Plus: "We may have loved playing games against FBS teams, I think they create great exposure for our university. I think they financially make a lot of sense. I think our kids enjoy playing in them. The reality is we were playing more of those games than the other top FCS programs were."

Reel in the agents? 🔱
@GrahamRossini (@TheSunDevils) not only touched on the momentum that's been buzzing around Tempe but also the urgent need to regulate predatory NIL agents: "We've got to get our arms around two primary issues. One would be having agents certified and registered, having a cap on commission, making sure that we're all dealing with reputable characters in that space that are looking out for the best interests of their client."
Rossini: "We've had instances on our campus where athletes have said, 'I want to stay. I want to be a part of my program. I want to be a part of this university. I value my degree from ASU, but my agent's making me transfer. My agent's using me as a means to an end elsewhere.'"

🏟️🔝 #SMTT@jmcclain_USM of @USMGoldenEagles takes pride in what the Golden Eagles have built up: "Part of me gets a little bit perturbed when people want to focus on how much money we don't have, but they don't really see how much we have strategically invested over the last six or seven years."
McClain also touches on what's evaluated in the NCAA Baseball Selection Committee: "Usually when you get down to the last few teams, they all have flaws, right? ... You just have to watch a lot of ball games to try to get a feel for what's happening and what you see with your eyes."

"That's why it's so important that we're playing by the same rules as we're talking about what can come from the school from a rev-share point and what can be done from over the cap."
@UGAAthletics leader @Brooks_UGA believes that the Bulldogs will stay financially competitive in this era of college athletics in an interview with @Dawgs247:

It's Mountaineers vs Cavaliers in Charlotte. 🏈🏔️⚔️
But why?
@wrenbaker of @WVUSports explains the opportunities that open up with playing neutral site contests: "But if you’re given the opportunity to play the right opponent, the financials make sense and it’s in a place where you’re trying to engage donors and alums … the Charlotte area, for instance, is always a place where we do really well, so that’s a place where we’ve really tried to plant a flag in terms of being there."
"Then the other aspect that plays into that now is NIL opportunities. Some of those games present an NIL opportunity for the athletes on your roster and as you’re trying to grow that above-cap revenue, that’s part of the conversation as well."
