Crazy morning. Woke up and heard a repeating series of 3 or 5 beeps. At first I thought it was a back up alarm, but this kept going. Went outside to follow the sound and saw other neighbors standing outside talking to someone official looking.

The next building over had what sounded like a fire alarm going off and nobody could figure out where it was coming from. Firefighters in full gear showed up and started going through apartments and the attic space. Finally found that it was a smoke alarm someone put outside on their 2nd floor patio (for unknown reasons). It was raining and I don't know if that caused the alarm to activate as it was getting wet.

Thankfully it was just a false alarm - but upsetting to know people will disable the systems in place meant to prevent disasters.

I took the angry firefighters to my storage units to show them some of the tactical gear I have available and made a few extra sales.
