نائب وزير الصحة تلقي بيان مصر أمام لجنة
السكان والتنمية بالأمم المتحدة

ألقت الدكتورة عبلة الألفي، نائب وزير الصحة والسكان، بيان جمهورية مصر العربية خلال الدورة الـ59 للجنة السكان والتنمية (CPD59)، المنعقدة بمقر الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك خلال الفترة من 13 إلى 17 أبريل الجاري.

وأكدت نائب الوزير في مستهل كلمتها انضمام مصر إلى البيانين المقدمين باسم مجموعة الـ77 والصين، وباسم المجموعة العربية. وأشارت إلى أن دورة هذا العام تكتسب أهمية خاصة بتركيزها على نقطة التلاقي بين الديناميات السكانية والتكنولوجيا والبحث العلمي لدعم التنمية المستدامة.

وأوضحت أن هذا النقاش يعزز الارتباط الوثيق بين برنامج عمل المؤتمر الدولي للسكان والتنمية وأهداف التنمية المستدامة، خاصة الهدف التاسع المتعلق بالصناعة والابتكار والبنية التحتية. وشددت على أهمية التعامل مع التحديات السكانية والصحية في إطار شامل يضع الإنسان في قلب جهود التنمية.

وأكدت الدكتورة عبلة الألفي أن تعزيز الاستفادة من البيانات والبحث العلمي والابتكار يُعد ركيزة أساسية لفهم الديناميات السكانية وصياغة سياسات قائمة على الأدلة، بما يساهم في الحد من الفقر، وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي الشامل، وضمان فرص متكافئة في التعليم والعمل والخدمات الأساسية.

وأعادت التأكيد على التزام مصر الكامل ببرنامج عمل المؤتمر الدولي للسكان والتنمية، مع ضرورة احترام السيادة الوطنية والهويات الثقافية والقيم الدينية للدول.

واستعرضت نائب الوزير الجهود المصرية في معالجة القضية السكانية، مشيرة إلى إطلاق الاستراتيجية الوطنية للسكان والتنمية 2023-2030 والخطة العاجلة 2025-2027، التي تربط بين حجم السكان وجودة الحياة، وتهدف إلى تحسين الخصائص السكانية في الصحة والتعليم والتغذية، وخفض معدل الإنجاب الكلي إلى 2.1 طفل لكل سيدة.

كما أشارت إلى إطلاق الاستراتيجية الوطنية للصحة الرقمية 2025-2029 لدعم الابتكار في القطاع الصحي وتحقيق خدمات أكثر كفاءة وعدالة واستدامة.

واستعرضت التقدم الملموس الذي حققته مصر، من بينه زيادة فترة المباعدة بين الولادات من 3 إلى 5 سنوات، وربطها بمبادرة “الألف يوم الذهبية الأولى” في حياة الطفل، إلى جانب خفض معدل وفيات الأمهات إلى 37.5 حالة لكل 100 ألف مولود حي عام 2024، وارتفاع نسبة الولادات المشرف عليها من كوادر صحية ماهرة إلى 97%.

ولفتت إلى انخفاض عدد المواليد السنوي لأول مرة منذ 2007 إلى أقل من مليوني مولود في 2024، وتراجع معدل الإنجاب الكلي من 3.5 إلى 2.4 مولود لكل سيدة خلال العقد الماضي.

واختتمت الدكتورة عبلة الألفي كلمتها بالتأكيد على أن الديناميات السكانية تمثل فرصاً وتحديات في آن واحد، داعية إلى دعم الابتكار والبحث العلمي لتعظيم العائد الديموغرافي وبناء مستقبل أفضل للأجيال القادمة، بما يضمن عدم ترك أي إنسان خلف الركب.

يُعد هذا البيان تعبيراً واضحاً عن التزام مصر بتحقيق التوازن بين النمو السكاني والتنمية المستدامة، مع الاستفادة الكاملة من التكنولوجيا والابتكار لصالح الإنسان.
