Every step we take toward a more compassionate and inclusive world brings us closer to a future where children and families can live without fear and with endless possibilities.
We won’t stop working toward that future. #ForEveryChild
There are 650,000 school-aged children in #Gaza.
UNICEF and partners are working under extraordinary conditions to reach them with the support they need to survive, learn and heal.

To all of our supporters, including @UNICEFClubs, @UNICEFNextGen, corporate and civil society partners, suppliers and board members, and dedicated advocates like yourself, we can't thank you enough. When children’s lives are on the line, we know we can always count on your voice.
In a very challenging year, amid global aid cuts and crises, our supporters spoke out #ForEveryChild, time and time again. We wanted to take a moment to reflect on the many ways you urged elected officials to prioritize the rights and well-being of children around the world.
Last month, the Global Child Thrive Reauthorization Act, which addresses early childhood development needs, advanced out of the House Foreign Affairs Committee with bipartisan support — a powerful reminder that your voice matters.
Inside UNICEF temporary learning spaces in Khan Younis, #Gaza, students like Judy, 12, are finding joy and connection.
"I love learning here so much," she says. "When I see the school, I feel like I'm back in the old days. I'm proud to be at this school." https://t.co/5gBfCoJhgY
For several years, @FaruqiSomaya broke through barriers as captain of the Afghan Girls Robotics Team. Today, she continues to inspire as she works with @EduCannotWait and UNICEF to protect every girl's right to learn. #AfghanGirlsVoices https://t.co/gfD4W1ANUu

I've seen how local action shapes global outcomes. Community membership organizations like @Rotary helped establish the @UN in 1945, and show how much stronger the world is when citizens and governments work together. My latest op-ed: https://t.co/QMoe3NTeF7 #UN80#Rotary
PAMA is proud to support @UNICEFUSA with a $375,000 commitment which will provide lifesaving neonatal care in Gaza. This collaboration will supply Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) with critical equipment, including incubators for newborns who require urgent medical attention.
Together, we're supporting frontline health workers protecting newborns during their most fragile first days of life. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to maternal and child health, emergency medical response, and the dedicated healthcare heroes delivering care under extraordinary conditions.
Collaboration matters—always, but especially now. Through this work, we're helping ensure newborns receive the care they need to survive and begin their lives with dignity and hope.
In 2025, even as funding fell, UNICEF found ways to work faster, smarter and better. This global appeal for 2026 details how UNICEF will keep delivering, while sharpening its focus on the most critical needs of the children at greatest risk: https://t.co/IRzLItxSut
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell recently returned from Sudan, where she says there is “extreme hunger, including famine in certain parts of the country.” The organization warns that more than 200 million children will require humanitarian assistance in the coming year.
“The challenges are just absolutely staggering, and I think the world needs to come together,” Russell said. “In the short term, for sure, we need better humanitarian access.”
As winter storms hit #Gaza, thousands of displaced families and children face freezing nights in flooded, leaking tents. "You cannot live with dignity in a situation like that," says UNICEF's Jonathan Crickx.
