At least 40 million children aged 13 to 15 are already using tobacco products, and 15 million children are using e-cigarettes -- as tobacco and nicotine industries continue to drive addiction, particularly for young people.

I’m deeply concerned about what I would call the ‘𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅’.

Some leaders seem to have an almost blinded belief that #ArtificialIntelligence will solve all our problems.

By simply deploying technologies without solving the underlying societal and managerial problems, we won’t reep the potential benefits #AI has to offer.

Putting it simply:
‘𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝘼𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪.’

Yesterday was another exciting day of packed rooms and stimulating discussions. Topics ranged from building resilient health systems to translating commitments into action, engaging civil society in global health governance, and the links between #UHC and global health architecture reform, to mention a few.

Congratulations to our partners for their successful events and unfailing commitment to #HealthForAll!
